Legendary painter M. F. Hussain is painting his favorites - Madhuri Dixit and Amrita Rao - together on the same canvas. The inspiration behind this creation is the fact that he plans to produce a film with Madhuri and Amrita playing the female leads.

 

"Hussain has asked Madhuri and Amrita to visit him, during Diwali this year, to discuss the logistics of the film," says the source.

 

Confirming the story, Hussain told Mirror, "Yes, I am painting Madhuri and Amrita on the same canvas. I do a lot of combination paintings. I have started working on the painting. It should be ready in a month, starting from today." Talking about the film starring Madhuri and Amrita, maverick painter said, "It's a bit early to divulge details about the film, but yes, there is one in pipeline. I want to make a film with Madhuri and Amrita together. I believe that my painting is incomplete, unless I make a film on it."

 

We asked Hussain if this time, unlike his previous films Gajagamini (2000) and Meenaxi: A Tale of Three Cities (2004), he would like to make a commercial product. "No, I don't want anybody to dictate what I have to make," Hussain said.
